Google DevFest 2010
The Google DevFest 2010 was recently held at the UP Ayala Land TechnoHub in Commonwealth Avenue, UP Campus, Quezon City. It is a series of events held on different location around the world which is organized by Google in order to learn more about the technologies and developer products that Google introduces.
I was one of the lucky individuals who was given a confirmation seat by Ms. Christine Sonco, the DevFest SE Asia Team after I learned of the scheduled event which was relayed to me by my wife thru Ms. Aileen Apolo.
Topics of the event includes the following:
- Google Maps
- Google Chrome and the Open Web Platform
- HTML5
- Google Buzz
- Google Cloud for Developers
- Google Apps Marketplace
- Google Storage
The speakers explained well to developers on the best practices and the right approach in programming such applications.
They also introduced the Google Technology Users Group (GTUG) which is a collaboration of developers to learn more about Google Technologies.
